Dr. V. Raghavan Treasurer The Combustion Institute, Indian Section

Dr. V. Raghavan completed his doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Madras during 2004. He worked in the area of methanol combustion for his PhD. He has around three and half years of post doctoral work and research experience in TCS India and in University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA. His areas of interest include two-phase transient droplet combustion,  laminar flame studies and combustion modeling. He has authored 10 international journal articles and 13 national and international articles. Currently he is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Madras.
